OBE

The Outcome Based Education framework

Program Educational Objectives

Broad statements describing what graduates are expected to attain within four years of graduation, reviewed with industry advisory boards.

Program Learning Outcomes

Twelve PEC graduate attributes — from engineering knowledge and design to ethics and lifelong learning — mapped to every course.

Course Learning Outcomes

Each course declares 3–5 CLOs assessed through rubrics, with attainment thresholds set at 50% per CLO and 60% cohort-wide.

Continuous Quality Improvement

Attainment data flows from the OBE platform into departmental CQI meetings each semester, driving curriculum revisions.
